The project journey begins with an initial consultation and project appraisal. This phase of the project allows for a mutual understanding of the project deliverables and ensures for a collaborative approach to the design process.

During this consultation, we will explore your overall design and vision for the project, along with project related details such as budget, timing and spatial planning. Our Team will also complete a site measure to ensure we are able to provide an accurate project appraisal. This phase also gives our designer the opportunity to get to know you a little further and how each space will be occupied to ensure it meets the needs and considerations of all.

After this initial consultation our designer will consolidate and present this information in a design scope prior to any commencement of work.

After all the relevant information is collected, a formal design agreement is drafted and presented to the client. This document outlines the scope of work to be carried out by Lawrence Barnes Creative including the design fees to commence work on the project and a detailed timeline to complete the scope of work.

This design phase ensures that both the designer and the client are of the same understanding of the deliverables prior to the commencement of the project. Once the document has been approved, the design process will commence, and our team will start working on the concept development.

To ensure the potential of your space is maximised, our designer will analyse the floor plan and spatial constraints of the property to create layouts that optimise flow, functionality, and visual appeal.

This is where the fun really begins where our designer creates a truly bespoke concept which speaks to the desired outcome of the project which they will guide you through during your design presentation.

The design presentation phase of the project provides our Interior Designer the opportunity to present the proposed creative direction for the project, bringing your vision and ambitions to life.

From mood boards, colour and material palettes, to detailed renders and scaled floor plan’s, every element is considered to provide a visual representation of the project.

We will guide you through each of your spaces, articulating the reasoning and rationale behind the design choices, allowing for interaction, exploration and feedback to refine your project further.

The final phase of our service model will see your project come to life from managing timelines, co-ordinating deliveries, overseeing contractors to the meticulous placement of bespoke furniture and accessories, every detail is executed with care and attention, ensuring that the presented design is translated, allowing you to enjoy a stress-free experience.
