An artfully placed brass floor mirror by UK designer Timothy Oulton is positioned in the center of the room, reflecting the room’s decadent aesthetic, and drawing you in with its captivating light portal . The mirror is adorned by a captivating floor to ceiling joinery unit, spanning over 3 meters in length. The joinery unit is finished with integrated lighting, a black painted timber facade, hand finished brass banding and two types of brass mesh. We opted for a series of open shelving and concealed cabinets to make up the design of the joinery unit. Not only did this provide visual balance, but allowed for all of the multimedia devices and sound systems to be integrated seamlessly in the cabinetry compartments.'
A second custom joinery piece was designed for the space. A sleek black marble countertop, with rich caramel veins serves as the focal point of the bar, illuminated by the same overhead lighting as the unit on the opposite side of the room.
The oversized drawer fronts are accessorised with the same brass banding and two types of brass mesh, ensuring a level of continuity within the space. This fully serviced bar is adorned with vintage glassware, and gleaming liquor bottles, beckoning the users to explore an enticing selection of craft cocktails and aged spirits.
